Extensive Bridge Strengthening Work

Extensive bridge strengthening work is about to commence throughout Progressive Rail's Wisconsin Northern Railroad's network which will greatly enhance the performance and payload capabilities of the rail line operating between Norma and Rice Lake Wisconsin.

One of the Nation's premier bridge contractors, also locally owned and operated in Wisconsin, by the name of the Lunda Construction Company will be performing the betterments. Watch for additional updates to arrive via e-mail very soon as the actual work schedule is confirmed. Please be patient during the various work curfews that will create a few delays and/or cancelled trains. Of course every possible opportunity to keep service operations running as close to the normal routine will be pursued during the construction process. Additional scheduling information will be shared with you as it becomes available.
